UN Special Envoy's recent meetings in Riyadh

Our Mission

OSESGY is mandated to facilitate a peaceful, inclusive, Yemeni-led political transition, ensuring international support for stability in Yemen.

The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General is responsible for exercising the good offices to enable the resumption of a peaceful, inclusive, orderly and Yemeni-led political transition process that meets the legitimate demands and aspirations of the Yemeni people, including women, for peaceful change and meaningful political, economic and social reform, as set out in the 2011 Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative and its Implementation Mechanism and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference of 2013-2014.
